A light well is what brings daylight deep into a building, and that’s what a well-installed window should do for your home. The crew at Lightwell Windows Long Beach keeps that idea front and center on every job, from a single bedroom window in Belmont Shore to a full door replacement in Bixby Knolls. We’re a small, local team led by Keith Yamada, Owner, and we’ve been part of the Cedarwell network since 2010. Our people show up background-checked, uniformed, and ready to protect your floors, furniture, and pets before the first tool comes out.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Keith Yamada, Owner
Keith has spent his career in residential windows and doors, and he still walks every job site himself before the crew sets a ladder. He’s the one who writes your price before any work starts, and he means it when he says no invoice surprise at the end of the day. Keith has a habit of pointing at a forty-year-old frame and explaining exactly why it failed where it did, usually in fewer words than the product brochure would use. On weekends, he can be found restoring an old sailboat in Alamitos Bay, which he claims is just windows with more varnish.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus runs the technical side of most window replacement jobs in Long Beach, with deep experience across PGT, CGI, and Therma-Tru product lines. He holds manufacturer certifications for impact-rated and coastal window systems, which matters a lot when salt air from the Pacific is working against your frames year-round. Marcus is the one who notices a slightly out-of-square rough opening before it becomes a problem on trim day. He’s a father of two and insists on quiet tools during nap-time hours when the job allows it.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena has been installing windows and doors long enough to have worked on everything from 1920s craftsman bungalows in Rose Park to new builds in East Village. Her specialty is retrofit window installation in older Long Beach homes, where nothing is ever plumb, level, or square, and the real skill is making the finished product look like the house was built around it. Elena is fluent in Spanish and English, which helps when neighbors in Cambodia Town or Zaferia stop by with questions mid-job. She keeps a photo log of every cleanup before the crew leaves a site.
Tim O., Service Coordinator
Tim is the voice you’ll hear when you call (562) 912-3327, any hour of the day or night. He schedules estimates, coordinates the crew’s routes across Long Beach and surrounding cities, and makes sure a real person answers when something comes up after an install. Tim knows the eight brands we carry, including ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, and ViewLux, well enough to explain why one is a better fit for your home than another without putting you on hold. He’s a Long Beach native who can tell you which side streets actually save time getting to a job in Naples.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this team operates under the Cedarwell Care Promise, and the C.A.R.E. values are not a poster on a wall. Clean up like it is our own home means drop cloths down before anything moves and a photo of the final cleanup before the crew’s truck leaves your driveway. Ask before we move or touch anything means your grandmother’s china cabinet gets a conversation, not a shove. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours means quiet tools during nap time and no early-morning engine revving in residential neighborhoods. Explain the price before the work means you see a written number before we start, every time. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise backs it all: if the finished work is not right, Lightwell makes it right, no debate, no countdown. That’s the standard in Long Beach, and it’s the same standard Keith expects on every job from Lakewood to Signal Hill. Need a straight answer about your windows or doors? Call (562) 912-3327 and ask for Tim.
